Kohlton Norys competed at the USA Nationals along with the likes of Ryan Lochte, Jason Lezak, Nathan Adrian and Michael Phelps. Kohlton competed in one event on each of the last four days, and earned a second swim in each event. His highest place finish came in the 50 meter freestyle where he swam 22.93 in the morning preliminary heats and 22.83 during the finals heat to move from 15th to 12th overall.

In the meantime Tenney Rizzo competed at the Western Senior Zone meet in Clovis earning second swims there. Tenney opened her meet swimming a time of 1:11.02 in the preliminary heat of the 100 meter butterfly and improved to a 1:09.95 in the C-final for a 19th place finish. Tenney also placed 31st in a field of approximately 60 swimmers in the 50 meter freestyle with a time of 29.62 and 51st in the 100 free with a time of 1:06.41.
