Our Selma group hosted the first long course meet of the season for Central California Swimming, and TNT had 61 swimmers participate at the Clovis North complex. The IM-Ready (IMR) is one phase of the overall USA Swimmings IMX Challenge ranking and competition system. In the IMR phase, swimmers compete in shorter events as they develop on their way to compete in all the required events for an IMX ranking that requires longer events. Information on the IMX Challenge can be found by clicking on the IMX Challenge link.
Event champions were led by 9-year old Jackson Huckabay who won three of his five events: 100 free (1:15.15), 50 back (43.29) and 200 IM (3:10.37). Our other event champions included 14-year old Lauren Davis (200 IM 2:39.77), 12-year old Parker Giles (50 fly 32.42), 13-year old Mia Newkirk (100 fly 1:12.07), 10-year old Madison Pallares (50 breast 45.73), 10-year old Garrison Price (50 fly 40.00), and Coach Bobby Yribarren (200 free 2:01.29).
Congratulations to the following 20 swimmers who improved 100% of their times:
