Twenty TNT swimmers competed at the Clovis Senior Q meet (Juanita Allington Senior Championships) during the first weekend of March. This meet served as the last opportunity to qualify for the NCSA Junior National meet that would take place later in the month. Seventeen year old Nathan Rhea came home with the only team record from the meet, and he did so with fourth place finish in the 100 breaststroke event. His 59.75 was the first time under a minute posted at a club meet for any TNT swimmer. The time takes the record away from Wesley Coles who swam 1:00.08 at Sectionals this past December. Nathans time currently ranks 261st among all 17-year old male swimmers in the nation.
