Tulare Master Coach Visit  Selma Master Coach Visit

Primarily based on 18-under swimmers’ national top-10 rankings, our program has been slated to participate in the USA Swimming Master Coaches program. United States Swimming’s Club Excellence Program schedules about 45 teams from the thousands of teams across the nation for each Master Coach to visit, and TNT has been put on the list for this year. Our dates for the visit are from September 8th through September 11th. Our visitor, Coach Ed Spencer, will provide opportunity to interact with our coaches Sunday night on his arrival with plans to schedule the next few days.

Plans include a meeting-type sessions with any coaches who would like to attend, and pool-side meetings with swimmers and coaches during practices. Currently, our plans are for Coach Spencer to interact with swimmers and coaches during Monday at the Tulare practice, speaking to younger swimmers between 5:30 and 6:30, then interacting with older swimmers beginning at 6:30. Coach Spencer will travel to Selma on Tuesday to interact with swimmers and coaches there, and will visit the Visalia program on Wednesday prior to his departure. Any coach or athlete are welcome to participate in any one or more of the sites to experience the interaction.
