Day 4 (Saturday) – TNT swimmers maintain a high improvement percentage as they compete on day 4 of Sectionals. Katherine Bristow, Zach Hansen and Hannah Giles all swim to life-time best times. Katherine swam two events including the 200 IM, recording a 2:40.50 and the 50 meter freestyle with a 29.04, shaving approximately a half second in the IM and a tenth in the 50 free. Hannah Giles, swimming her first Sectional meet also improves two tenths in the 50 meter freestyle to a 28.78, thereby qualifying for the Speedo Grand Challenge. Zach Hansen swam a 2:18.32 in the 200 IM event swimming well faster than his best of 2:23.83 swum at Sectionals in Federal Way during March of 2008. Zach’s becomes the second fastest 15-over IM swimmer in the history of the team.
